Súra 69 Al-Haqqа (The Inevitable)

1. وَمَا هُوَ بِقَوْلِ شَاعِرٍ ۚ قَلِيلًا مَا تُؤْمِنُونَ

   And it is not the word of a poet; little do you believe.

   69:41

2. وَلَا بِقَوْلِ كَاهِنٍ ۚ قَلِيلًا مَا تَذَكَّرُونَ

   Nor the word of a soothsayer; little do you remember.

   69:42

3. تَنْزِيلٌ مِنْ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ

   (It is) a revelation from the Lord of the worlds.

   69:43

4. وَلَوْ تَقَوَّلَ عَلَيْنَا بَعْضَ الْأَقَاوِيلِ

   And if Muhammad had made up about Us some (false) sayings,

   69:44

5. لَأَخَذْنَا مِنْهُ بِالْيَمِينِ

   We would have seized him by the right hand;

   69:45

6. ثُمَّ لَقَطَعْنَا مِنْهُ الْوَتِينَ

   Then We would have cut from him the aorta.

   69:46

7. فَمَا مِنْكُمْ مِنْ أَحَدٍ عَنْهُ حَاجِزِينَ

   And there is no one of you who could prevent (Us) from him.

   69:47

8. وَإِنَّهُ لَتَذْكِرَةٌ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ

   And indeed, the Qur'an is a reminder for the righteous.

   69:48

9. وَإِنَّا لَنَعْلَمُ أَنَّ مِنْكُمْ مُكَذِّبِينَ

   And indeed, We know that among you are deniers.

   69:49

10. وَإِنَّهُ لَحَسْرَةٌ عَلَى الْكَافِرِينَ

    And indeed, it will be (a cause of) regret upon the disbelievers.

    69:50

11. وَإِنَّهُ لَحَقُّ الْيَقِينِ

    And indeed, it is the truth of certainty.

    69:51

12. فَسَبِّحْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الْعَظِيمِ

    So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great.

    69:52
